R o utine treatm ent is sim ilar to that in child ren, with the fo llo wing excep tio ns:
– M easles vaccine is o nly ad m inistered to ad o lescents (up to age 1 5 ).
– A ntibio tics are no t ro utinely given, but infectio ns sho uld be co nsid ered , and treated
o r exclud ed , in the assessm ent o f the p atient.
